Work in the Hospital
After graduating from nursing and obtaining the right to practice, you can work in a hospital ward. The specificity of the work and the scope of tasks of the nurse in each ward will be slightly different. The basic duties, however, include the preparation and administration of oral, intravenous and intramuscular medications, collecting material for laboratory tests, caring for people in bed, feeding the sick and performing basic tests (e.g. ECG, measuring temperature and sugar levels).
Work In The Clinic
Nurses will also find work in primary and specialist health care clinics. Their tasks include collecting test material, performing preventive vaccinations and injections, dressing wounds, performing ECG and measuring body temperature, blood pressure and body weight, as well as keeping documentation.

Nursing graduates can also look for employment in social welfare homes, care and treatment institutions and hospices, where they often help the seriously ill and the dying. It is physically and mentally demanding work. In addition to the implementation of basic therapeutic activities, nurses employed in such institutions perform caring activities, such as feeding and washing patients or caring for bedsores.
